Introduction
Collisdene Care Centre is a 50 bed home comprising of two
nursing units and a specialist unit:
Avon and Kype units
Provides nursing care to frail elderly, elderly, people with
dementia and terminally ill clients.
Sharlyn House
Provides specialist care and support for adults with learning
disabilities and adults with physical disabilities.
Collisdene Care Centre is situated in the beautiful town of
Strathaven on Glasgow Road (the main Strathaven to East
Kilbride Road).
The care home has an open outlook over the surrounding rural
area and stands amidst landscaped gardens.
Nearby is Strathaven Park with its well tended gardens and
scenic railway, the perfect setting for an afternoon stroll or
a picnic.
