My mother has been a resident for 4 years now and as a family, we are very satisfied with the care she receives in this care home. Staff are lovely and keep you well informed of any changes affecting her
My father had to be moved into Woodhurst as a result of my mother being admitted to hospital as she was his primary carer. Dad went into Woodhurst 2 days before my mother sadly died. So in effect dad lost his wife of 60 years and his home all in one fell swoop. The staff at Woodhurst were obviously aware of all of this and treated him with the utmost compassion, sensitivity and care. He has now settled in well and for me, it has made an impossibly hard and traumatic time for us just that bit easier. I know my dad is safe, well looked after and above all cared for.
